Tour Description

The “Old Lady” as it is called here, is at the culmination of the Lesser Antilles.
It also has one of the highest rainfalls in the world: between 12 and 15 m per year!
A state certified guide teaches you to better understand its fauna and flora and its history, whilst you are ascending it.
Accompanied by him/her you can gain access to the South crater (which is not allowed for unaccompanied hikers): the odour of its smoke and gas and the noise of the crater will leave you in no doubt: you are on an active volcano!
An ultimate pleasure awaits you at the BainsJaunes with a dip into sulphur water at over 28°C.
